Assalamualaikum wr wb. 

Writing a paragraph  (in Writing 1  and 2) means writing a topic  by several sentences. The sentences can consist of  four types of sentences : simple sentence, compound sentence, complex sentence, compound-complex sentences.  Before going further to writing an essay which contains much more sentences, you have to study deeper about the types of sentences.  Therefore in writing 3 you are going to study the sentence structure which begins from the types of sentences, kinds of clauses such as adverb clause, noun clause, adjective clause, and participial phrases. Then you continue to study writing an essay.

In this course, you are going to get a lot of exercises/practices to make  those types of sentences in a paragraph or paragraphs and to analyze sentence problems. You should do all exercises/practices.  

The score will be taken from UTS, UAS and assignments : exercises/practices  and writing paragraphs.
